Our foundation mare - bought at the Aberdeen Sale in October 1997
A small stud of Standard Black Shetland Ponies started in 1997 by John and Brenda Laing when they purchased their foundation mare, Clashandorran Beauty. Brenda has been showing ponies since her childhood in Orkney.
The stud is now run in conjunction with their daughter Claire Brough and helped out by her husband Jimmy along with John and Brenda's other daughter Myra.
